BRADENTON — WilsonMiller, a construction design and engineering firm with several local private and public clients, has merged with a Tampa-based firm to expand its business.
WilsonMiller, which Manatee County and SMR Communities have used for several infrastructure and transportation projects, announced today that Stantec has agreed to acquire its business for an undisclosed amount.

D’Amato Properties LLC, a Doylestown, Pennsylvania company managed by Alex D’Amato, has bought a 9,100-square-foot shopping center at 3405 W. Cortez Road in Bradenton from Joyce Williamson for $1.085 million, or $119 per square foot.
Williamson?assisted the transaction by providing D’Amato with a $585,000 loan.

Tropic Supply, a Miami air-conditioner and refrigeration distributor, is building a 40,000-square-foot distribution facility at 7533 Claxstrauss Drive in Sarasota.
